This is a Christian movie that anyone could appreciate.  For one, it's not too preachy, the scenes are very really and that little girl, Rachel Eggleston, is so adorable.

The problems are very real.  The mother in the family just died and all of them are having a hard time adjusting to their new life.

As real as it is, I just wondered why they did not say grace before meals anymore, but I am glad it was sort of explain with the Pastor's visit asking the father why they weren't seen in Church anymore.

There was also a part there where Julie, the eldest, wondered why she couldn't hear God's voice anymore.

I love the story, the screenplay, the characters including Reggie the dog...the dandelions, before I became so allergic to them, were my "summer snow" too.  It brings some childhood memories back.  Sigh.  ;-)

All in all, I think that even if the problems and trials did not disappear for the Benson Family, their sticking together surely helped their trip along the road to recovery a lot.
