Now we're cooking. The jealousy/jealousies are more obvious in this episode.
On Peter King's timeline, DEATH AL DENTE(1999) is the fourth book and it was released a year before A HEALTHY WAY TO DAY(2000). In the #HallmarkMoviesAndMysteries universe this is the third episode.
Becky Southwell and Dylan Neal have their own style. They have great teamwork. Working as one, they share to the world how they envision the progression of the story. Are they going to prolong the sexual tension or should the characters admit to one another their true feelings and desires? It's great that their collaboration brings them closer together. Sometimes it draws people apart especially if their creativities are disparate.
THE STORY
The case is too close to home for Henry Roth. Just like the Pilot Episode, he knows the victim and the members of his family. He wants to be objective, but he couldn't help being subjective.
Sometimes the scenes are predictable, then you would tend to doubt your deducing/deductions, but when you prove that you were right, you would pat yourself on the back and say, "Oh, boy, I'm good!" ;-)
When you don't get it, you'd just say, "I didn't see that coming."
I was glued to the screen most of the time. There's one scene there that the characters, in a moment of weakness, were not thinking straight. They were still in the area when they started to.... then the mastermind arrives. When they were doing that, I knew they would get caught.
I still liked this movie as a whole because if it were too perfect, then it would be unrealistic. Of course everyone has moments of fallibility.
Hmm...
I guess that's all I have to say about this episode.
Thanks a lot for your time.
