Prequel Number 2 :-p There's another "prequel" in the offing.  It's called Alien Awakening and they say it still contains three or more of the characters from this film. Bound for a remote planet on the far side of the galaxy, members (Katherine Waterston, Billy Crudup) of the colony ship Covenant discover what they think to be an uncharted paradise. While there, they meet David (Michael Fassbender), the synthetic survivor of the doomed Prometheus expedition. It took a while before this movie reached our shores. This was shown first in October last year for a short time, then it was released again this month after The 82nd  Academy Awards.  I don't know if there's a deeper story behind it.  Normally, I would check, but I don't think I'll bother.   Let me just talk about what I think instead. I like the team up of Kathryn Bigelow and Mark Boal. The story was very moving and the direction was superb.  It made me seem to experience war first hand and I know deep in my heart that I wouldn't want to experience it for real .  My heart was torn to pieces several times.  There were people I wanted to save and when one of them practically exploded, I felt like dying too. The Iraq war is one of the biggest mistakes in the world.  Hey, I'm just making a comment and I don't want to wage war against anyone, but I hope it never happened.  War is really stupid!
