LaraMia Veronica MisaGarcia   watching  The 33 Movie  at Commercenter Cinema Alabang . 17:00H·  The 33(Deep Down Dark)is a victorious story of resilience and hope. I hope more people would learn of this miracle by reading the Pulitzer Prize winning book or this wonderful movie. Directed by Patricia Riggen The 33 Movie Film Disaster strikes on Aug. 5, 2010, as a copper and gold mine collapses in Chile, trapping 33 men underground. With more than 2,000 feet of rock in their way, members of a rescue team work tirelessly for 69 days to save the seemingly doomed crew. Beneath the rubble, the miners begin an epic quest to survive, contending with suffocating heat and the need for food and water. With family, friends and the rest of the world watching, it becomes a race against time and a true test of the human spirit .-from the World Wide Web Screenplay by Mikko Alanne Craig Borten Michael Thomas Story...

"Trust me..." If you would judge the poster alone you would never guess the ending.  Antonio Banderas' eyes were so tantalizing that somehow his role did not scare me at all.  Sigh. No wonder there are lots of crimes of passion all over the world.  You do not know who to trust.  I first watched this movie in 1995 and I must say that I like the way Lewis Green and Jordan Rush wrote the screenplay.  I did not see it coming.  I thought the story was predictable. I like the fact that this movie made me think. I don't like open-ended movies or stories.  I don't like stories that don't make sense. Did I like the ending? All I can say is that I was "relieved".
