Greenbelt 3 Ate Carol and I watched the movie along with the Colegio San Agustin Class(Makati) of 1994 courtesy of her niece, Larissa. 3 hours and 1 minute long Directed by Anthony Russo and Joe Russo   Screenplay by Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely  Based on The Avengers by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby  Caveat:  If you don't want spoilers, no worries, there aren't any here. Also, I suggest that you don't go to the Wikipedia Page. Dad didn't understand some scenes(hard of hearing due to old age and medicine) so he looked for spoilers(after the fact).  He found them on the Wikipedia page.  No worries, I won't put the link here.  If you do want spoilers, then this is not the blog entry for you. :-) This is just a bunch of feelings, and nothing more. Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015)

It's a good thing that we were really joyfully anticipating this movie or else we would have been greatly disappointed because it was the only movie showing in every cinema of SM City BF Parañaque "When Disney acquired Marvel, the lines became funnier, 'Tati'!" as observed by my eight(8) year old nephew. I agree with him.  The scenes were still violent, but bearable.  I took to heart the parental guidance thing and tried to be alert every time he asked a question.  His dad was on the other side, but he chose to ask me stuff.  He did turn to his dad when he wanted to go... ;-) My nephew loves his parents, most especially his mom, but I'm happy that he also thinks highly of me.  ;-) During the first few minutes, I was lost in space(not the movie's fault, but I was distracted by something ), but after a few minutes, I was into it.  Every scene was exciting...well, maybe not every  scene, but to us, it sure felt like it. Others squirmed bec...

Captain America: The Winter Soldier 2014 (PG)

Chris Evans alone, for me, is reason enough to watch this movie, but  I like the on-screen chemistry of Chris Evans and Scarlett Johansson, even if I think the Black Widow is meant for someone else.  Anthony Mackie as the much slower Falcon was convincing and of course, Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury was superb.  You've gotta love that very intense scene when he was trapped inside his very intelligent  car.   I don't think I could say the same for Robert Redford.  He was just so, so as Alexander Pierce.  That was very disappointing because I respect him a lot.  I still do, but... Anyways, he was not bad, so I guess it's OK. Cobie Smulders, as Mara Hill, should be given more exposure in the offing.  Sebastian Stan as Bucky or the Winter Soldier , is so sexy. My guess is that he would have a bigger role in the next episode.   Bucky as Winter Soldier. Promotional art for Captain America vol. 5, #11 (Nov. 2005), by...
