( source ) First, I have to acknowledge to the great acting of the indefatigable EDDIE GARCIA.  The others were good too, but of course, it was Mr. Garcia who stood out. What did I think of the story? It has good intentions to open the eyes of the millennials and those people who believe that Martial Law was good for us, and is still good for us.  Those who think that the people tortured during the Marcos Rule got their just deserts are surely going to think twice after seeing this movie.  Well, that was the hope of everyone involved in this project. Spoiler alert: Mr. Migue, we really felt we were being tortured too. We felt our nails being pulled, our bodies electrocuted and violated, our minds exploding, and wits diminishing, but we have some concerns: 1.  If the Colonel was time warped, how come he knew how to use a smart phone?; 2. He was watching TV...the news...he was aware of the EJK and current issues, so he had lucid moments, ...

Source Written and Directed by Joseph Abello To be completely honest, and I can only speak for myself, I was very edgy and ambivalent about this movie.  I knew I was going to watch this months even before it was shown.  At least three of my friends were...are involved in this film, one way or another, so I conditioned myself, and also managed my expectations. THE VERY FIRST MOVIE ABOUT PHILIPPINE GYMNASTICS Gymnastics is not the number one sports in the country, even if we have great gymnasts who are not given a chance to hone their craft. Other countries have good training programs.  We can't always give the lame excuse that we don't have the budget for it. Our national athletes are forced to have military training.  I saw our runners train under the heat of the sun and not eat healthy food. I'm glad it was tackled in this movie. D.I.D.
