‘The Girl On The Train’: 11 Important Differences Between The Bestselling Book And Its New Big Screen Adaptation   (click the link if you must, but I may as well tell you that there are lots of spoilers) THE GIRL ON THE TRAIN's trailer was very intriguing.  I have never read the book before, but I was compelled to watch this because of the teaser. The story was very interesting and I kept on guessing who the real culprit was.  In the middle of the film I made a wild guess and I was right. It was acted well by everyone, most especially the deglamorized Emily Blunt, but you cannot discount all the actors' efforts and skills.  We had a heavy feeling after the movie.  We could not decide if we liked it or not. We weighed the pros and cons and decided that it was not the best film ever, but it had a good story and subplots.
