Stuck in Love (2012)

Image
source Josh Boone :  Writer and Director(It's his directorial debut) source First things first: This is NOT for the conservative or for those who only watch movies that promote Christian values. So now that is out of the way, I will talk about what I think about the movie. Yes, I don't share any of the characters' values(Maybe I'm a little like Lou( LOGAN LERMAN ), but, not exactly.), but each of the character's personalities are deep, and their reasons for being who they are different, but if you get to really "meet" them, you would understand those reasons. The movie is well-written and well-directed by JOSH BOONE.  This was the first film he ever directed, so it's pretty impressive.  The actors were carefully chosen by TRACY KILPATRICK and JOHN PAPSIDERA. THE VERY CONVINCING CAST: GREG KINNEAR, JENNIFER CONNELLY, LILY COLLINS, NAT WOLFF, LIANA LIBERATO, PATRICK SCHWARZENEGGER, SPENCER BRESLIN, KRISTEN BELL, RUSTY JOINER, Log...

Dinner With Friends (2001)

Directed by Norman Jewison Produced by Patrick Markey Written by Donald Margulies (play/teleplay) Dennis Quaid  as Gabe Andie MacDowell  as Karen Greg Kinnear  as Tom Toni Collette  as Beth I cannot criticise this story ever.  It has claimed many awards and the actors are very talented.  They are very believable.  It is Rated-R for language, but the scenes are almost wholesome if this were a silent movie. Dennis is Gabe and Gabe is Dennis.  Andie is Karen and Karen is Andie. What about Greg Kinnear?  Did he portray Tom like it was suited for him like a T?  Well, yes!  I wanted to throw my shoes at him.  Yes.  He played the role of an a-hole so well that you would think he's like that in real life. What about Toni Collette?  She's perfect for the ...
