RECIPE FOR LOVE may be almost four years old, but to me, it's a new movie. I watched this at home while waiting for some friends of the family from abroad right after we watched Ocean's 8(at the theatre), paused it a bit when they arrived then continued watching while they were on their way to wherever else they were going. How's that for useless info? ;-)
Michael J. Murray and Ron Oliver make a good team. The scenes don't dwell on the drama, even if there is some drama in the script. Then when you think you've got the script figured out, you'd get surprised that what you thought of did not happen and then you thank the heavens that you were wrong.
There were anticlimactic scenes, but they were enjoyable.
Of course, there were outrageous scenes, most especially the ones with Gio(Amos Mitchell), but all in all, this is a very heartwarming movie.
Thank you so much for your time.
