In an America ravaged by crime and overcrowded prisons, the government sanctions an annual 12-hour period during which all criminal activity -- including murder -- is legal. Thank goodness that it is being shown at HBO Hits and recently, I was able to watch it with my dad. Dad and I became curious because when we were channel surfing. this movie was about to start in a few seconds. Story-wise, it lacks depth, but it is thrilling and interesting enough for one not to leave the theater, room or wherever else that person is watching this story. The Purgers are futuristic Klu Klux Klan types. Yea...
