Love At The Shore (2017)

Image
Directed by Steven R. Monroe Written  by Laura Gasbarro Grant and Nicole Baxter Hmm...I don't love this movie, but I like it.  I think this is Happy the Dog's first movie.  Am I right?  Or maybe not. The two lead stars are beautiful, but the kids, plus Happy the Dog, are the ones that make this movie adorable. I just have some issues with Jenna's way of thinking: She has put Lucas in a box.  She automatically judged him. Her friend was right about the two week rule.  Don't base everything from day one.  Get to know the person first before judging.  I have an unconventional lifestyle, so I kinda relate to Lucas' way of living.  Let's say Jenna was right, and Lucas was indeed a bum...where would this story be? Well, here she learns that he isn't a bum.  Suddenly it's OK to be attracted to him?  Duh!?! Of course it matters.  That's reality, but the way it was presented made Jenna seem judgmental. Well, I guess t...

Deeply shaken, Darcy takes the dog home, waiting to reunite him with his owner, Aidan. As she learns more about Aidan, Darcy realizes he could be the one she has been waiting for. Love, Once and Always (2018)

Image
Directed by  Allan Harmon Writing Credits  (in alphabetical order)   Susan Batten Gregg Rossen Brian Sawyer Sydney Sidner Amanda Schull and Peter Porte are so good to look at.  They are both good actors, and great dancers, so I was kind of expecting some sort of dance number, so... Anyways, I really enjoyed this movie.  How do I say this without sounding like a broken record?  This is the kind of movie when predictability is very much welcome, at least for me. Some viewers say there is no spark/chemistry or whatever else, but that's not what I see or feel. Maybe they are right.  They did not get the accent right, but all in all, at least for me, it's quite an enjoyable film. Well, it's not the best movie in the world, but it serves its purpose. I guess that's it.
