The Matchmaker's Playbook, AnotherTosca Musk and Joany Kane teamup(Director and Writer)

Image
Directed by Tosca Musk Written by Joany Kane based on Rachel Van Dyken's novel of the same title Main stars:  Caitlin Carver and Nick Bateman The long and short of it:  Notwithstanding the "for adults only" language and the values of the people in this movie, the love scenes were done in good taste.  I like the fact that it's the handsome Ian Hunter(NICK BATEMAN) who falls for Blake(CAITLIN CARVER) first.  I just don't get why this movie is set in College or the University, but maybe that's their target market.   I enjoyed this film.  It's funny and romantic(RomCom).  I don't know if this is PG-13 or R-13. If I were to compare this to another TOSCA MUSK and JOANY KANE team up, Hollywood Dirt, well,  this isn't as raunchy as Hollywood Dirt.   The story is lighter too. There's a sequel, by the way called The Matchmaker's Replacement.  I think I'm going to watch that too.

A Very Country Christmas (2017)/A Perfect Christmas (2016)/ Christmas List(2016)/Wedding Wonderland(2017)

Note:  The sequence is from the first thing I viewed to the last one among the four movies features on this blog entry. Jeanette Williams(Bea Santos) is a busy single parent, trying to make the best life for her and her daughter(Raven Stewart). With no time to follow current celebrity gossip, Jeanette is unaware of when a Country superstar(Greyston Holt)returns to their small town to escape the intrusive paparazzi and the chaos of fame. A chance meeting between the two have them both letting their guards down and opening their hearts to the possibility of romance.-imdb Director: Justin G. Dyck Writers: Keith Cooper and Patrick McBrearty (additional material) Based on ' His Country Cinderella ' by Karen Rose Smith THE MOVIE Among the four this is the first one I watched, and it is my favourite among the four.  How's that for emphasis?   Yes, there's nothing new with a famous star going back to where he finds peace and meets a local whom he fall...
