100 Tula Para Kay Stella (PG) 2017

Naka move on na po ako...natuwa lang ako sa eksena na ito. This blog entry might have a few spoilers, but I'll try my very best to have none, unless I couldn't help it. How do I start this entry then? Maybe I'll start with what I like best and probably you would consider this a spoiler:  Fidel(JC Santos) was able to gain confidence because his roommate and his org mates believed in him.  When people have potential, we should not bring them down and we shouldn't laugh at their imperfections.  Instead, we should encourage them to be the best of what they could be.  Sometimes that's all people need.  A pat on the back...a bit of a push...they don't need jeerers and hecklers who tantamount to being bullies. I also like the ending.  It proves that EVERY scene is important. There is integration and every character or at least every main character learned a thing or two leading them to be wiser and more mature.  In the middle of the sto...

I Saw The Light: The Hank Williams Story (2015) PG-13

Initial release: 11 September 2015 Director: Marc Abraham Budget: $13 million US Box office: $1.8 million US Screenplay: Marc Abraham Story by: Colin Escott Mom and I have been ill since Sunday, so except for a few spurts of productiveness, I had to put all work aside to just focus on healing.  Except for the news and that wonderful French Open Men's Singles Final, we missed out on watching our favourite TV programs because we were too weak to watch anything.  I was able to update my social media sites, but...anyways, enough of these useless info... I chanced upon this movie because dad was watching this.  He just came from breakfast with friends and he was resting a bit.  He was quite impressed with "Loki" and we both wondered if this was shown in the Philippines.  "Where were we when this was shown?" We were moved as the story progressed, but found a lot of things off and odd.  There were many great and wonderful things that Mr. ...

Make Your Move (2013)

This is the United States theatrical release poster for the film  Make Your Move 3D . Star-crossed lovers become embroiled in the bitter rivalry between their brothers' underground dance clubs. -WWW Initial release :  8 August 2013 ( Russia ) Director :  Duane Adler Box office :  1.427 million USD Music composed by :  Michael Corcoran ,  Eric Goldman How do you make a dance flick unique and interesting when there are many predecessors ahead of it?  It's hard, I know.  I almost did not watch this because I thought it was not worth my time.  The story is somehow like the rest, but it does have something to offer.  The intense dance steps and the chemistry between Derek and BoA can be seen on the big screen and it can be felt too.   #CulturalDiversity #DifferentTypesOfDance #Aerials #Acrobatics #TapDancing #JazzEtCetera I admire both Derek and BoA and I hope they would...

My Best Friend's Girlfriend (2008)

Embedded videos of Why Can't It Be? and All I need are found below Like the movie's tag line "Love comes in unexpected packages" my loving this movie was so unexpected. I didn't plan to see this film ever since it was promoted. Why? Even if I like both Marian Rivera (Grace) and Richard Gutierrez (Evo), I just didn't see any chemistry while watching the trailer (not that the trailer isn't any good). The plot also made me cringe inside. There's that unspoken rule between CLOSE friends/siblings/CLOSE relatives, right? Weeks passed since it opened and still I didn't even have a tinge of desire to watch it.  Why did I watch it? YOU CAN SKIP THIS PART IF YOU WANT TO: When I woke up this morning I didn't even realize I was going to see this film. I worked a little, checked some email, posted some pictures, then tried to take a nap while Eat Bulaga was "on air" (although I was enjoying Aling Melissa's "game" I ...
