I am NOT a critic. I'm merely an observer. (Books, movies, plays, musicals etc.)

This made-for-TV movie is about Wall Street hotshot Will Martin (Neil Patrick Harris), who goes back to his hometown after his grandfather dies, despite feeling that he doesn't belong there any more. As everyone gets ready for the Christmas season, Martin is busy working in the family real estate business. While going through his grandfather's things, he and his grandmother (Debbie Reynolds) discover a diary that mentions an unknown woman named Lilian. Will decides to track her down.-Google Search (the image below is from Google images...the image above is from imdb) Today is the last day of Christmas, and earlier this evening I watched THE CHRISTMAS WISH(1998, an IAN BARRY Film) .  It stars DEBBIE REYNOLDS, NEIL PATRICK HARRIS, NAOMI WATTS, IAN MELTZER, ALEXANDRA WILSON and BEVERLY ARCHER. The pacing was slow, but every scene was meaningful.  I have not read the book written by RICHARD SIDDOWAY, that was adapted for television by BETH POLSON cowritten with technical s...

In support for Manresa 1987's Stand Up For Life (Taken during our pre movie dinner at Santouka Hokkaido Ramen, ATC) Tris must escape with Four and go beyond the wall enclosing Chicago. For the first time ever, they will leave the only city and family they have ever known in order to find a peaceful solution for their embroiled city. Once outside, old discoveries are quickly rendered meaningless with the revelation of shocking new truths. Tris and Four must quickly decide who they can trust as a ruthless battle ignites beyond the walls of Chicago which threatens all of humanity. In order to survive, Tris will be forced to make impossible choices about courage, allegiance, sacrifice and love . -WWW I'm a Veronica Roth fan and I am currently reading the life of FOUR before he met Tris so I was really into the Divergent series.  I could relate to every battle(internal and external) and I could empathize and/or sympathize with every character and situation. Not all the cri...

Should we jump for joy because this movie was shown two days and a few hours ahead of the US of A?  I remember a certain Super Mall's members of its staff telling me that I could not buy tickets for a festival that they were partners with because this Blockbuster of a film was going to be shown ahead of time around the time the festival was going to start.  Hmm...  Where were the long queues they were anticipating? Where?  Wait a moment.  Am I grumbling? Didn't I like this movie?  Well, I did.  I liked Divergent better, but I liked this one too.  To be at peace with oneself, you should also learn to forgive yourself when needed be.    I am not going to give a long narrative on my thoughts about this film.  All I would like to say is that I like the flow of the story, the special effects and all the actors(including the ones with bit roles). It's not a great film and I don't love it, but I definitely like it.  ...
