Tempted (2003)---more of a Jason Momoa "review" than the movie itself LOL
A married woman becomes attracted to a young man after she takes the ashes of her nanny to Hawaii.-WWW
Directed by Maggie Greenwald
Written by Vivienne Radkoff (WGA)
To tell you the truth the real reason I watched this movie is because I was surprised to find out that Jason Momoa had a starring role eight years before Conan the Barbarian(2011), and nine years before his Bullet to the Head character named Keegan, and long before becoming his noted GOT character, Khal Drogo, and of course, Aquaman. Well, I knew he is a model, actor, writer, director and all that, but I didn't know he already had a big role fifteen years ago. Maybe it was because I wasn't as interested in him like I was with Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill. Still, I was interested enough to know that he is Lisa Bonet's handsome husband and he has two children with her. They married legally October last year, but they've been in love since 2005. He also has a stepdaughter named Zoë Kravitz, Lisa's daughter. Her father is Lenny Kravitz, a famous singer/songwriter. Zoë is quite popular herself. She starred in many movies including X-Men: First Class, The Divergent Series and the Fantastic Beasts Trilogy. If I weren't as interested in him like Ben and Henry, just imagine the intel...the dossier...kidding.
HOW DID I COME ACROSS THIS MOVIE?
I was at youtube.com listening to a song by Mario called LET ME LOVE YOU and this movie was at the side bar. I got interested.
Yes. The thumbnail looked sexy and tempting to watch. The title was very intriguing. It was called TEMPTED.
It is quite catchy, but since I'm a ghostwriter and researcher for more or less three decades now, I have learned to read between the lines.
It's ONE word.
Alright.
Let's just say that I knew in my heart that there's more to the title than meets the eye and I was right.
I learned a lot of things and I was reminded about a lot of things.
The premise is not new. We all get tempted here and there. Emma's story is sort of formulaic and so is her meeting the very tempting Kala. Since he's a guy, I think when his mom had him, the sky was so bright that she named him "Sun". Other meanings are lady/princess.
Thankfully, I was right. There's more to the title than meets the eye. ;-)

Two belts of trade winds encircle the earth, blowing from the tropical high-pressure belts to the low-pressure zone at the equator.
- Originmid 17th century: from the phrase blow trade ‘blow steadily in the same direction.’ Because of the importance of these winds to navigation, 18th-century etymologists were led erroneously to connect the word trade with “commerce.”-WWW
