Sailing Into Love (2019)

From imdb This movie, besides being a love story, is about fighting for what we believe in, especially when we know we are in the right.   For me this movie is very timely because of all the hullaballoo happening around me.   Sometimes I cringe when people congratulate me for what I "did", as if it's something great, but I did what I did, and I said what I said.  I won't take back what I said. ON MAKING A STAND BECAUSE I LOVE GOD AND OUR PARISH COMMUNITY PRAYER VIGIL THE MOVIE CHRIS MCNALLY(Lt. Cdr. Tom Hastings) and LEAH RENEE(Claire Richards) look visually beautiful together, but many people said they had a hard time listening to Ms. Renee because of her squeaky voice. Acting wise, they both did great.  If they are not a real life couple, they sure made me believe that they are in love, or at the very least, super attracted to each other. I like that the viewers who usually complain about Hallmark's style of "clif...

Autumn Dreams (2015)

From Google Images For one reason or another, I shelved this movie for the longest time.  I thought it was "the same old story", so I told myself that I would only watch this when I need  predictability. The day finally arrived so I started watching it. As the movie went on I realised that even if it did have elements of predictability, the story was somehow unique in more ways than one. All in all, the movie was very fair to all characters, including someone who would crossover ahead of the others. There was no real villain.  Even the "blockades" were reasonable people. JILL WAGNER(Annie) is really gorgeous, but her demeanour in this movie changed with her every mood.  Even her beauty was different depending on her dress. COLIN EGGLEFIELD's role, Ben, is a year older than hers, but since she's always working under the heat of the sun, there were moments that she looked older than him.  For me, that's very realistic. I also learned a lot ...

Appetite For Love (2016)

Director: David MacKay Screenplay: Damon Hill Story: Howard Chesley Mina(Taylor Cole) has everything going for her -- a boyfriend(Marcus Rosner) who has meticulously planned out their lives and a great job with International Corporate Brands. But her world is turned upside down when work sends her to her hometown in Tennessee where she must convince an old, stubborn restaurant owner to sell his property. There is just one problem – the restaurant is now owned by her ex-boyfriend, Clay(Andrew Walker), who claims he will never sell. He resists her negotiations every step of the way, and all the while sparks fly. - The Hallmark Channel ANDREW WALKER may not be a crush of mine, but he sure is one of my faves.  He has this comforting face that is so good to look at, and he could make any leading lady get lost in his eyes.  Here, as Clay, he is so lovable, that it is pretty understandable why Wilhelmina is so confused about her feelings.  I know, I know I shou...
