Incredibles 2 Cast & Character Guide
Fourteen years ago we were told a sequel was in the offing, but a decade passed, and still there was no sequel. So when this was announced, we were pretty psyched. Most of the kids who watched this back then are parents now, or at the very least, already working, so like us who were already adults back then, they were very excited too.
Others were trying to rain on our parade. They were saying it's just full of ____...hype, in other words. We did not budge.
Since we have an eleven-year-old boy who watched this on TV who was equally psyched, we waited for Friday, which was a holiday(of course, even if he didn't have classes the days before, it was because of heavy rain, and we didn't want to risk it). We didn't purchase tickets in advance, but we thought we arrived very early. We weren't able to anticipate that since it was a holiday, the theatre at Evia Lifestyle Center, a Vista Mall, was already full to the brim, as early as that because it's a holiday. Shucks.
My nephew was very disappointed because it was supposed to be his first time to watch a movie there. He was excited because I was raving about the state-of-the-art theatre/cinema so he wanted to know if it was a indeed worth raving about. I just hope when he finally watches a movie there his expectations would be exceeded.
Over matcha latte, choco cro, coffee and a cookie at St Marc Café, we discussed about contingency measures. We chose to watch at the Commercenter and had a great time.
It was worth the wait. It was epic and a TRUE sequel. It had no problems with continuity
and the story could be appreciated by all ages...well, the younger kids, who were amazingly behaved, asked questions here and there, but they enjoyed it as well.
My nephew and I were just wondering about something about Jack-Jack in THE INCREDIBLES 2004. Didn't Bob know about his abilities back then?
After musing about this and that, we decided that only the audience and Syndrome knew about it...at least one of the many. He has tons of abilities. He's a Jack-Jack of all trades. LOL. Even with all those abilities, he's still sooooo adorable.
Violet and Dash are still awesome.
Bob became a super dad.
Helen became super Elastigirl.
We knew who the REAL villain is right from the part where ___ convinced Helen that it was her time to shine.
There were some doubts when a certain mission was being discussed with an innocent perky person while it was happening, but moments after that, we were happy we're right. Are we really? Well, we hoped we were wrong.
Anyways, by any chance you haven't seen this yet, go watch it. It's so worth your time.
I'll just warn you that there are no teasers during mid and after credits, well, except for a tiny troll. :-p
Thanks for your time in reading this non-review of mine.
Cheers!
