Cover Photo by Scott Biel This novel is set six years before Star Wars: The Force Awakens and it's a canon novel by Claudia Gray, so far my favourite  romantic multiverse author, and it's my first time to read something from Star Wars that's written by her.   Was she able to live up to my expectations?  Yes. The book is a page turner.   When I was a little girl I asked my dad what "A long, long time ago in a galaxy far away..." meant.  "I don't want to pretend to know," he sighed. "I think  it means that all these happened before all earthlings existed on earth and even then their technology was way more advance than ours." "How is that?  Didn't God created the earth?" Another sigh. "God created all universes and galaxies.  God is not bound by space and time.  Maybe they have a different understanding of time out there."  "Uni means one, like unicorn, says mom."  "Perhaps they are...

The closest I ever got to being in a multiverse is a 5-Dimensional ride or a 3-Dimensional movie and that's not even "the same". This last part of Firebird trilogy is both exciting and terrifying at the same time.  No, it's actually a labyrinth of emotions, mostly unfathomable, but believable. Will this trilogy become a movie? I think it's going to be a box office hit.  Of course, there will still be comparisons and most probably people would say the book is better, but it would be great to see the characters in a "live action" movie. It's like The Matrix, Quantum Leap, Star Trek and others melded together. Claudia Gray's grammar might not be perfect like mine, but she is a true and very good raconteur.  She has made my imagination run wild. We should really be careful of our actions and the choices we make.  Whether we like it or not, our decision affects the whole world in one way or the other. This sci-fi romance trilogy shows us...

Normally, I would regret such move, but thankfully, I did not need to. This book is a page turner.  I have always been fascinated with alternate universes and quantum leaps.  I wouldn't want it to be real, but somehow, when I do something very, very wrong, but I know quashing my life is not a solution, I would hope there was another dimension I could go to. Claudia Gray envisioned and verbalized some of my thoughts.  I thought I was not going to enjoy it because I have not even read the first installment: A THOUSAND PIECES OF YOU .  I am glad I was wrong. ...
