The Hurt Locker(2008)
It took a while before this movie reached our shores. This was shown first in October last year for a short time, then it was released again this month after The 82nd Academy Awards. I don't know if there's a deeper story behind it. Normally, I would check, but I don't think I'll bother. Let me just talk about what I think instead. I like the team up of Kathryn Bigelow and Mark Boal. The story was very moving and the direction was superb. It made me seem to experience war first hand and I know deep in my heart that I wouldn't want to experience it for real . My heart was torn to pieces several times. There were people I wanted to save and when one of them practically exploded, I felt like dying too. The Iraq war is one of the biggest mistakes in the world. Hey, I'm just making a comment and I don't want to wage war against anyone, but I hope it never happened. War is really stupid! A lot of innocents become casualties. ...
