NOTE: This is a remake of RKO PICTURES' HOLIDAY AFFAIR(1949) based on JOHN D. WEAVER's short story CHRISTMAS GIFT Charming seasonal clerk Steve Mason(DAVID JAMES ELLIOTT) gets fired for helping beautiful Jodie Ennis(CYNTHIA GIBB) in return a toy train during the busy Christmas rush. Over lunch Mason discovers that Ennis is a widow of a hero who died saving people except himself, and now she is a single mother, that little by little his heart melts.
