I am NOT a critic. I'm merely an observer. (Books, movies, plays, musicals etc.)

Lifelong buddies Willie (Morgan Freeman), Joe (Michael Caine) and Albert (Alan Arkin) decide to buck retirement and step off the straight-and-narrow when their pension funds become a corporate casualty. Desperate to pay the bills and come through for their loved ones, the three men risk it all by embarking on a daring adventure to knock off the very bank that absconded with their money.-WWW Release date: April 7, 2017 (USA) Director: Zach Braff Based on: Going in Style; Written and Directed for the Silver Screen by Martin Brest (1979) Based on the original story of Edward Cannon Music composed by: Rob Simonsen Cinematography: Rodney Charters 1979 There was something vaguely familiar about this movie, but I thought to myself maybe it just had the same theme or something.  Later, I checked it out and found out it was based on a George Burns et al movie of 1979. Even if this was(is) a remake or a re-imagining or something, it became an entirely new movie that's act...

This is a movie that is worth every centavo(or penny, whatever the case may be).  True, it could have been shorter, but hey, if you're a Christopher Nolan fan like me(I have written about his past movies, but somehow, I was not able to save them when Multiply.com went pfft...I thought I did, but I'm sadly mistaken...now I'd rather stay in awe...I hope one day I could write about them), you wouldn't mind the length. You would sit back, relax, then would try to analyze the scenes, then sit back, relax, then try to analyze the scenes. ;-)  I love movies that make you think, but also gives you moments joy and satisfaction. For some weird reason, I was not able to see a trailer of this film until I already saw it.  At first I thought Mackenzie Foy was going to morph  into Anne Hathaway, but as it turns out, she grew up to be Jessica Chastain.  I was also surprised to see that this movie has a power house (Or may I say, stellar?) cast besides Anne Hathaway ...

The four horsemen (Isla Fisher, Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson and Dave Franco) My brother told me this when we were watching INDEPENDENCE DAY for the nth time, "Goofs? What goofs? It's only a movie." With that in mind I would not dare mention the goofs of this film . The scenes are simply wonderful and the story and treatment are almost perfect.  The car chases are exciting and so are the magic tricks  and illusions.  I know that a lot of people were kind of expecting more, so they just got disappointed. Yet, there were also those who did not expect anything, but just relaxed and enjoyed every minute of the film. When I watched this for the first time, I didn't see it coming .  I just kind of guessed it when Dylan and Thaddeus were talking at a place Thaddeus did not imagine he was going to be. There were hints, I believe, but... I have seen this film I think about four(4) times, more or less and for one reason or another, it's not the il...
