Blood Sisters replaced Wildflower on its before TV Patrol time slot.  At first I thought that even if Blood Sisters has a heavy theme the story was lighter than Wildflower. Well, I was wrong.  Definitely wrong. Source Blood Sisters is NOT lighter than Wildflower .  Wildflower, even with its traumatic scenes, especially towards the end of the series, still was lighter because of the exaggerated dialogues that were done on purpose.  You know, those types where comic book type lines like the Batman and Robin series in the 1960s' fight scenes .  Something to that effect without the big words flashing on TV. Crime and other evils still exist, but the innate goodness in man prevails. The ending wasn't as wild as I imagined it to be because among all Wildflower episodes, nothing beats the helicopter scene where Maja Salvador kept on convincing herself that she is NOT Maja, but Lily Cruz and she successfully made the scene more beautiful than her gorgeous face. At any rate, they were successful in making the whole week not so predictable.  The dialogues were still exaggerated, but like what they said, it was on purpose, and it works. On the Live FB feed, thousands of people watched it along with the cast. Did I like the ending? I like and love it.  It's like a quieting song and so what if the other scenes were anticlimactic?   At least we didn't get heart attacks or something. I like that Emilia had a redeeming factor and Julio got his just deserts. Kudos to EVERYONE involved in this project. All the best to you all!   #Barcelo...

This movie is a remake based on the 1979 comedy directed by THE Ishmael Bernal called SALAWAHAN , with a different attack.   I was able to watch Salawahan  more than three decades ago(I forgot if I watched this with my friends at BF Homes(my friend's dad was from MTRCB or its equivalent)...yes, there was a theater there with a bowling alley...so I was better a bowler when I was younger, now...hey, that's not the topic) and a few years back on TV.
