After watching back-to-back The Cutting Edge series just recently(a few months ago) where I only loved the first( starring DB Sweeney and Moira Kelly ), which, by the way, I watched SEVERAL times before, I thought I had enough of Ice Skating love stories(Figure Skater/Hockey Player) for the moment(I will never get tired of Ice Skating movies, and movies with horses).  Gee, I was wrong.  I found myself being drawn to this.   My contemporaries, LOCHLYN MUNRO and LISA WHELCHEL are in this made for TV movie, so it kind of made me more interested, but NIALL MATTER and GRACYN SHINYEI also added icing to the already delicious cake. Director: Marita Grabiak Writer: Barbara Kymlicka It's interesting to note that the Hearts of Spring imdb  page's photographs are mostly about Little Conner plays by CHRISTIAN CONVERY.  Just recently. although I didn't mention it, I saw him in Venom (I wasn't sure, but the imdb page confirmed it) and earlier on I've seen him in Coming Home For Christmas as Little Paul.  He's such a darling in the photograph above, and I'm pretty certain that he is indeed adorable, but as young as he is, he is very versatile. Here, he plays a brat who is giving his single mom a hard time.  This single mom(CARRIE GENZEL)  keeps on inventing reasons to see Andy(MICHAEL SHANKS), his paediatrician, making him edgy, so in a way, Little Conner and his mother became instrumental for Andy and the female protagonist named Carly(LISA WHENCHEL) to start to get know each other more(they met at a Taco Food Cart at the park). Director: Marita Grabiak Writers: Diann Hunt (novel), Barbara Kymlicka  (teleplay) ⛪ It took me a while before writing this, and I'm not even sure if I'm going to publish this.  If you see this on Google+, then you know what I've decided. OK.  In reality, LISA WHELCHEL and ANTONIO CUPO are fifteen years apart.  People have a hard time processing things like this, even if it's fiction, most especially the imdb reviewers.  Thankfully, the youtube reviewers were nicer.  They looked at the story, and the acting.  They did not focus on the age gaps. Hey.  These are actors.  It just so happens that this is a movie made for television, but if this were done on stage, would you even question it? Why can't you separate fact from fiction?   The good side of that is that it could mean you were so immersed in the story, even if you say it's a snooze fest.
