In May 1940, Germany advanced into France, trapping Allied troops on the beaches of Dunkirk. Under air and ground cover from British and French forces, troops were slowly and methodically evacuated from the beach using every serviceable naval and civilian vessel that could be found. I could imagine that it would be more real if you watch this in IMAX or 4DX. Christopher Nolan made us all experience the terrors of war in Dunkirk. It was real as real could be, so if your heart is faint, don't attempt to watch it for you would feel like drowning when they are drowning and you would get a glimpse of hell too.
