So now that is out of the way, I will talk about what I think about the movie. Yes, I don't share any of the characters' values(Maybe I'm a little like Lou( LOGAN LERMAN ), but, not exactly.), but each of the character's personalities are deep, and their reasons for being who they are different, but if you get to really "meet" them, you would understand those reasons. The movie is well-written and well-directed by JOSH BOONE.  This was the first film he ever directed, so it's pretty impressive.  The actors were carefully chosen by TRACY KILPATRICK and JOHN PAPSIDERA. Here's my take on the movie: I'm not really a movie critic and if I have nothing good  to say, then I would not write anything about it.  Even if I don't like the message of the movie, like let's say, THE COUNSELOR , I would not write about it if I didn't see a single iota of brilliance.
