Broadcasting Christmas (2016)

Image
When her on-air partner decides to depart America's favorite morning show, "Rise and Shine's" Veronika Daniels announces that she will be choosing her new co-host from a handful of candidates that includes Charlie Fisher, a local NY newscaster who is the son of a broadcasting legend. However, when Emily Morgan, a human interest reporter for the local Connecticut station, makes an impassioned on-air plea to be considered for the job, the game changes for everyone as video of Emily's declaration goes viral and the network brass decide to put her in the running. Veronika delights in the healthy competition she sees brewing, and encourages the candidates to bring their A game in the segments and stories they do between now and the Christmas Day Telethon, when she will announce her choice. As the competition narrows, and it becomes clear that either Charlie or Emily are going to get the job, they begin to rediscover a spark between them that started long ago.   Writ...

Another Buffy and Clark movie: Winter's Dream (2018)

Image
Directed by David Winning Writing Credits  Tim Ware ,  Gregg Rossen , and  Brian Sawyer (teleplay) Tim Ware and Kristin Booth (story) Heather Gittens ... (script coordinator) KRISTY SWANSON and DEAN CAIN have great chemistry, and this is not the first time they were teamed up( A Belle For Christmas / Operation Cupcake / Merry Ex-Mas ).  Both of them look younger than the last time they were together, and Kristy Swanson is extra beautiful here.  Dean Cain is still dashingly handsome.  Both are great to look at, and that fact alone is good enough for me, but the story is icing to the already very delicious ice cream cake. Needless to say there are many predictable parts, but there were more surprises than the predictability.  At least, that's my opinion. The beautiful LUCIE GUEST is the rival skier/coach, but she's not really the antagonist. LIZZIE BOYS is the protégée skier and Ty(Dean Cain)'s daughter. She also plays he...

Little Susan attends Sunday School an...

Horse Camp (2015)

Image
Google Images If you have been reading my stuff I guess you would know by now how much I love watching movies with horses.  Whether it's about Zorro, The Lone Ranger, Flicka or whatever movies or TV shows with equines with it, I usually love it, with some exceptions, of course.  If you're wondering if I'm an equestrienne, I am far from it.  I have no form whatsoever when riding, and the last time I rode was ages ago, so it's not because I could relate to it, but because horses are beautiful creatures, and I love watching them. Source Add to that the presence of Dean Cain as Cathy's dad.  As I've mentioned before, I had an unhealthy crush on Dean Cain when he was Clark Kent/Superman.  Thank goodness, I'm way past that foolishness already, and my crushes with people from showbiz or any industry are now just very, very, very harmless. Horse Camp hits a lot of soft spots and pulls a lot of heartstrings.  Sometimes we get what we wish for, b...
