Anderson Bullying is a very serious matter and it shouldn't be taken lightly.  The bully here really has no excuse.  Everyone gets hurt and all of us undergo something one way or another, but the writers made it a point that at the very least we would know where she's coming from.   The girl being bullied has the bigger heart.  She doesn't necessarily have the better voice, but because she sings from the heart, it resonates to the highest heavens. It's Christmas, of course the person singing should not be an angry person, and if that person does have problems, it shouldn't show. ...
