Prequel Number 2 :-p There's another "prequel" in the offing.  It's called Alien Awakening and they say it still contains three or more of the characters from this film. When a person has fewer clients by choice, you would think he or she would have more time to blog about what he or she has watched or whatever else that is important in his or her life.  Unfortunately that is not how it is.  I have other concerns and most of them are not worth writing.  I did see some awesome movies, musicals, plays and concerts that left me awe struck, but the glory of the moment has dissipated already so I skipped writing my wonderful experiences while watching the aforementioned. Anyways, I need to give myself a push to write "here" again and since I'm on a hiatus with regards to writing personal online journals, I will just write about two of the movies I've seen recently at Director's Club Cinema of SM BF Parañaque.  I must say that there's still going to be some sort of personal touch, because after all, I am definitely not a critic, but just an observer.  I must also warn  you that this is not going to be an award winning piece, so...

After murdering King Duncan (David Thewlis) and seizing the throne, Macbeth (Michael Fassbender) becomes consumed with guilt and paranoia as the tyrannical ruler of Scotland.-WWW My two cents worth: I like this version.  If I weren't dead tired, I would have been awake all the time.  Thank goodness I could order brewed coffee without going out of the cinema(one of the perks of watching movies at the Director's Club).  As other moviegoers mentioned as we were exiting the cinema, they liked it because the acting was not "theatrical"...when the companion of those who uttered that description asked what they meant, they simply said, "They weren't overacting."  "You mean..." "No, we don't mean that theater actors are overacting, but..." OK.  Even if I didn't even need to do so because they were talking aloud, it seemed like I eavesdropped...  ;-p  For me, the actors played their parts well. I honestly like the ...

Finally, the long wait is over. We were able to watch X-Men: Days of Future Past. This connects X-Men: THE LAST STAND and X-Men FIRST CLASS to a brand new dimension.  The story was beautifully weaved and the acting was very convincing.  The special effects was stupendous.  If ever there were goofs, only the super keen would notice them.
