Sylvia Day's Afterburn/Aftershock book and movie

Image
The book on the set of the Passionflix movie  (book and movie) Source The author  (if you watch the movie and pay attention you would see her there) Source I know when it comes to adaptations you can never really put everything in.  I vaguely remember something said in Hollywood Dirt that is why it is called an adaptation. SYLVIA DAY is one of the executive producers of the TV movie along with the Director, TOSCA MUSK, and the Screenwriter, JOANY KANE. The book is not without flaws, but only minor ones.  How in the world did Gianna think Jackson would forget about her when they spent the whole summer together? Duh?!? Of course he would know her blindfolded.  He knew her physically, emotionally, et cetera, et cetera .  Silly girl! If there was something I wanted the movie to change, that was that.  To humour me I asked myself, "Is the book better than the movie?" After all I said "above", yes, the book is definit...

The Matchmaker's Playbook, AnotherTosca Musk and Joany Kane teamup(Director and Writer)

Image
Directed by Tosca Musk Written by Joany Kane based on Rachel Van Dyken's novel of the same title Main stars:  Caitlin Carver and Nick Bateman The long and short of it:  Notwithstanding the "for adults only" language and the values of the people in this movie, the love scenes were done in good taste.  I like the fact that it's the handsome Ian Hunter(NICK BATEMAN) who falls for Blake(CAITLIN CARVER) first.  I just don't get why this movie is set in College or the University, but maybe that's their target market.   I enjoyed this film.  It's funny and romantic(RomCom).  I don't know if this is PG-13 or R-13. If I were to compare this to another TOSCA MUSK and JOANY KANE team up, Hollywood Dirt, well,  this isn't as raunchy as Hollywood Dirt.   The story is lighter too. There's a sequel, by the way called The Matchmaker's Replacement.  I think I'm going to watch that too.

Two contrasting stories starring Emma Rigby: Hollywood Dirt(2017) and A Cinderella Christmas(2016)

Image
Directed by Tosca Musk Written by Kelly Goodner This is more of an EMMA RIGBY and a TOSCA MUSK tribute ,  I must say, but I will only focus on the two contrasting stories: A Cinderella Christmas(2016) and Hollywood Dirt(2017). A Cinderella Christmas is one of the best Christmas love stories ever.  The evil cousin is not really evil.  She's just so insecure of her cousin that she made her do all the dirty  work. Directed by Tosca Musk Written by Alessandra Torre (Book) and Joany Kane (Teleplay) I won't lie.  I've watched Hollywood Dirt sometime after it was released, long before watching A Cinderella Christmas just this morning before typing some reports.  Hollywood Dirt is close to being sleazy, according to some.  It's nothing like the double movie feature that ruined my mental innocence before I reached puberty, and that phone conversation that scarred me for life et cetera , but people who reviewed it called it soft porn....
