There's something about this mini series that's making me float every time I watch an episode, so when I got the chance to watch the two latest episodes back-to-back, I grabbed the opportunity. The problem is, I have a heavy morning today and I am going to accompany my mom to do some biz somewhere in the City of Makati.
Maybe I'm just too sappy or probably it's because I'm a hopeless romantic, but watching two of my favourites, and other good actors to boot, give cheap thrills.
All the while I thought that the fourth installment would be the last, but I guess there's still a fifth installment in the offing. Both Wedding March 3 and Wedding March 4 could be stand alone movies like the first two, but like them too, you would wish to know more about Mick and Olivia's story.
I chose to write about both of them on this blog entry because they are interconnected more ways than one.
One happens during the Valentine Weekend, and the other happens somewhere almost immediately after that. Both were released this year.
Bonnie(Gabrielle Miller), Mick's baby sister who is more or less twelve years younger than him, is getting married to Sean(Peter Benson), someone Mick couldn't forgive, but since he loves her so much, he and Olivia do their best to make her simple wedding memorable as ever. Of course, like all weddings in real life, preparations don't go smooth sailing.
The side story: Julie(Sarah Grey) wants to quit school to be a chef(I don't know if she doesn't know that there's such a thing as Culinary School or maybe it's not offered at their University or something), which strains her relationship with her dad, Mick, and her boyfriend, Wyatt(Mitch Ainley). This frustrates her, but thankfully, Olivia is there to shed some light.
Andrew W. Walker and Merritt Patterson are the groom and the bride respectively. They make such a beautiful couple that you would think it's real. In real life Andrew Walker is married to Cassandra Troy, but here, he made us believe that he(I mean, Rob) only has eyes on Amy(Patterson). Amy is such a beautiful lady, but she is so insecure. She only has Rob and her best friend, Lana Salazar(Sandy Sidhu), since her last living relative, her mom, passed on while she was still in law school, that's why she very much wants to fit in the Atwell Family.
The side story: Grace(Emily Tennant) gets engaged to her boyfriend, Eric(Blair Penner). Olivia gets excited about this, but when Grace decides to go on tour...
The long and short of it, both TV movies/episodes, are feel good movies. So if you like movies like these, please watch all four episodes.
