The Birthday Wish (2017), The Wish List (2010), and A Wish Come True (2015)

When her boyfriend fails to propose on her 30th birthday, a magical birthday wish offers Gwen a glimpse into a future she didn't expect. Stars Jessy Schram and Luke Macfarlane.  -The Hallmark Channel

Could we really have a glimpse of the future without even having mystical powers of some sort? Stranger things have happened in real life, so maybe it is possible.  There's also that law of attraction, and that gift of prophecy, but this movie is not about that...maybe about the former, but definitely not about the latter.

How believable is the attraction between and Gwen and Dave, as portrayed by Jessy Schram and LukeMacfarlane?  The answer is VERY believable.  In real life, Luke Macfarlane is a proud and out gay person, but while watching this, you would totally forget that he is.  He would even make you wonder...

Jessy Schram is a very charming woman, and I could very much say she played her role convincingly.

What about Marcus Rosner?  He was convincingly annoying that you would think that he was too full of himself in real life...just like Reggie Mantle in the Archie Comics.

I like the whole ensemble of this story, including the ones in the dream sequence/glimpse of the future, most especially the children.

There was a scene where the couple who have been married for more than forty years would disappear in one scene, then would reappear conveniently after a character leaves the mini bonfire area that made me think that they were people from the future, but they were just ordinary people like them.  Honestly,  I'm still wondering if it's a goof or not.

The doggies are also wonderful additions to the members of the cast.  They are so beautiful.

What about the story?  Is it relatable?
Yes, because it's something that could happen to you and me or people connected to us.  It could happen to anyone.

It's definitely not one made like THE GREAT GATSBY, WUTHERING HEIGHTS or any kind of movies based on classics.  It probably would never be a household word, but it surely would not be a waste of time if you would watch this one.

Sarah Fisher, an overly organized, by-the-numbers kind of woman, makes a "wish list" of all the qualities and traits her future husband should have. After finding the perfect man, she falls for a guy who meets none of her criteria and discovers that life and love don't always work out according to the master plan. Stars Jennifer Esposito and David Sutcliffe. - The Hallmark Channel
Initial release28 August 2010 (USA)

cast:
Jennifer Esposito, Mark Deklin and David Sutcliffe

Let's face it.  We do have certain types of people that we want for a partner in life, and there are those we easily write off or strike out because they are not who we desire to be with.  They are good people, but they just don't fit us to a T because of a preconceived notion that we have.

That's what happened between Sarah and Fred.  Sarah wrote him off because he was the opposite of what she wanted for a beau.

She meets Mr. Perfect in Erik, and I must say, Erik is indeed a Mr. Right material. He gets along with everyone, et cetera, et cetera, that you would wonder, "What is he hiding?"

Anyways, I'm so tempted to answer that.  Is he or isn't he hiding anything?  Why don't watch the MOVIE to find out.

When Lindsay makes the ultimate birthday wish, nearly three decades of wishes, from losing weight to meeting Mr Right, come true all at once.

Just like The Birthday Wish, the person who made the wish here...rather, the wishes, just turned thirty(30).

I guess the point is sometimes we already have everything, but we're not contented, and we should really be careful what we wish for.

I think it's the first time I've met the actors here, except for DEAN CAIN, of course, for he plays himself, and DEAN ARMSTRONG, who plays Billy Maddox, but the rest are new to me...at least, that's what it seems to be.  Wait, I watch Blind Spot.  I know ANTHONY LEMKE, and he plays Reed, who is supposed be Mr. Right.

OK. I checked.  I've met BENJAMIN HOLLINGSWORTH before in Lucky In Love.  I don't know why I forgot such a handsome face.  Here, he plays Dave.  The reason why I continued watching this movie.

Oh...and there's RON LEA who plays the boss.  My goodness.  This is another reason why we shouldn't say never.

Anyways, this is a feel good movie, but because of the leading lady's stupidity, you would want to strangle her several times in this movie.

You're more than an idiot, Lindsay(not MEGAN PARK, of course)!!!!!

If you are wondering which of the three I like best, I like A WISH COME TRUE because of Dave , but THE WISH LIST is much better.  Story wise, AWCT is good, but... Anyways,  I love THE BIRTHDAY WISH  the best.  The Wish List is the most realistic among the three.  The other two are fantasies.  So I guess...Well, I like all three anyways, but I reiterate, I love The Birthday Wish the best, The Wish List second, and A Wish Come True the least.

Thanks for your time.
