MAMMA MIA! HERE WE GO AGAIN (2018)
Five years after the events of Mamma Mia!, on the Greek island of Kalokairi, Sophie (Amanda Seyfried) is running her mother Donna's (Meryl Streep) villa following Donna's death a year prior. Sophie's relationship with her husband, Sky (Dominic Cooper), has been turbulent for some time, causing her to doubt that she can survive without her mother. With Tanya (Christine Baranski) and Rosie's (Julie Walters) guidance, Sophie learns about Donna's past, including how she fronted The Dynamos, started her villa on the island, met each one of Sophie's dads, Sam, Bill, and Harry (Pierce Brosnan, Stellan Skarsgård, and Colin Firth), and raised a daughter without a mother's guidance. She also has an unexpected visit from someone she has never met: her estranged grandmother, Ruby Sheridan (Cher).-WIKIPEDIA

Ten years ago I watched this Musical about three times, then I've seen this on TV about five times, so I was pretty psyched to see this sequel. When I was watching the movie, there were many questions that boggled my mind.
This site sort of answered them so if you haven't seen the movie and you're the type who hates spoilers, don't click it.
In the original, Sophie wanted to know who her father is, but just decided to have three dads.
In this sequel, we are sure to learn who she has always loved, and if you're thinking it's____, then you're probably right. It's actually a no brainer. She did end up with someone in the first movie(this is for those who haven't seen the first), so he's probably the one she has loved ever since, right? :-)
Donna, during her stay in Kalokairi lived a simple life, so she was able to be a good example to Sophie, and Sophie's childhood was filled with so much love.
Not everyone was psyched like me. Of course, Meryl Streep has this stigma of being a Harvey Weinstein coddler of some sort, but even if it's true, she's only one person. What about Amanda Seyfried? What about Lily James? What about Dominic Cooper? What about Pierce Brosnan? What about Stellan Skargård? What about Colin Firth? What about Cher? What about Andy Garcia? What about the rest of the troop?
The music from ABBA still touches the soul. The choreography is great, et cetera, et cetera.
As long as the story doesn't spin off to the Ruby-Fernando love story anymore, this story would leave a mark in a lot of people's hearts, especially with that scene during the Christening(well, there were two Christenings...Sophie's and her child, mashed up).

note: Mamma Mia! (2008) was set in 1999 where a twenty-year-old Sophie was about to get married to her fiancé, Sky. Hmm...the flashbacks state that it was in 1979 when Donna and the Dynamos graduated. SOMETIMES degree ceremonies happen in January(Winter) in Oxford, so it is still possible for Sophie to be born in October, November or December in the year 1979, but it didn't seem like it was winter when Donna graduated. She was cavorting in Paris in spring, I guess, where she, met Harry, one of the possible fathers of Sophie. Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again(2018) is set in 2004(or 2005, whatever the case may be). Sophie is now twenty-five-year-old married woman. Oh well...maybe they rounded off Sophie's age in 1999? Does it matter?
THANKS A BUNCH FOR YOUR TIME!
