"You've been taking care of everyone for a while, let me take care of you."-Prof. Noah Ferris to Amy I don't know how accurate that sentence is, but the essence is there.
The ending might be predictable, but the paths leading to the ending is like the maze of corn in the story.
It is a very sweet story about a mother and a daughter who have a very good relationship. They are very close, but since the daughter is already eighteen, the mother decided to allow her some independence so she let her go to Oregon to further her studies. She has been the overprotective mother for eighteen years. Six of those years, since her husband died, she was hovering over every waking moment and activity her beloved Cara did. Now, she felt it was time.
She meets Professor Ferris in Oregon. They didn't exactly hated each other from the start, but the love was a gradual process.
I like it that way.
I don't wanna give the whole story away, but I just want to say that this brought a certain lightness in my heart. It made me feel like I was floating or having a magic carpet ride, without having the fear of heights.
There are many endearing moments, and my favourite was when Noah took care of Amy when she was not feeling well.
I guess that's about it.

Newly widowed Kathy(Kellie Martin) plans to skip out on decking the halls and trimming the tree this Christmas, trying to avoid anything that will bring back memories of her late husband. The only Christmas tradition she will observe is baking cookies for her friends, a passion since she was a child. When Kathy meets handsome Christmas tree shop owner Tim(Cameron Mathison), their undeniable chemistry - along with an ornament Tim gives her that symbolizes hope-helps Kathy open up to the joys of the season again. With the support of her best friend Jenna(Jewel Staite), and the budding relationship with Tim, Kathy begins to embrace the hopeful message of the ornament. Although Kathy wants to take a chance on Tim, she struggles to find the balance between preserving the memory of her husband and moving on with her own future. Is the Christmas ornament a sign that she can have a hopeful future? Written by Anonymous

Story Number 2:
If in the first story Cameron was paired with Kelly Rutherford, here he is paired with KELLIE MARTIN.
Kellie plays a widow of ten months named Kathy.
The glam team didn't spruce her up or anything. They just let look tired, but still have glimpses of beauty.
She was still in pain, for heaven's sake. It has not been a year, and for those still feeling your hearts still rung after decades, you would understand what she was going through.
There was some sort of instant attraction between Kathy and Cameron's role, Tim.
Both of them were undergoing something painful...a loss of a dear one. Although Tim's former fiancée is still alive, his heart was sort of dead in the romance department, so in a way, both of them made each other feel alive.
In Kathy's case, there was some sort of guilt. The pain is still very fresh, and the wounds don't have scabs yet, so to speak. It's like she believes she doesn't have the right to feel that way. What if her hubby didn't approve? What if...
Anyways, I won't tell you the rest of the stories. All I can say is that their team up doesn't look forced. The scenes looked natural, and the situations too.
I hope they would have other projects in the future. Maybe parents of teenage kids or something? Or a movie perhaps of any genre?
