Just like in real life, this story has many loose ends.  Not every mystery gets solved, and not every pain goes away.

I like the way the story was weaved.  We could only guess why Mac McQuinn(MICHAEL RHOADES) was very cold to his son, Terry(JAKE BROCKMAN at 9, SHAWN ROBERTS at 18, GARY SINISE as an adult).  It definitely has something to do with grieving for his greatest love, but to alienate his only child until his final breath...well, he did call him before dying, but...

I like how everyone acted here, most especially JORDY BENATTAR who plays Olivia here, a blind, but perceptive and precocious little girl.

JOELY RICHARDSON may be a member of showbiz royalty, but she's her own person, and she's talented too.

Did she have chemistry with Mr. Sinise?  I couldn't decide, but I've seen many odd couples in real life whose marriages incredibly last forever, and they are definite NOT an odd couple, so I think their partnership is believable enough.

🎅🎄🎅🎄🎅🎄
A man accidentally kills a woman and a child.  He couldn't live with himself, so he disappeared into the woods, leaving his own wife and child without a husband and a father. The child blocked ever meeting him in her memory.  The wife divorced him.

God forbid something like this happens to us, but what Charles Wentworth(RICK ROBERTS at 30 and DAVE NICHOLS at 60) did didn't only kill two people...he made his only daughter feel like an orphan.  As for his wife, she was really very cold even before, so maybe it became a way out for her.

Anyways, if I go on, I would've given the whole story away already.  If you are planning to watch this, I don't want to spoil it for you.

Thanks for your time.
