After watching this beautiful movie dad, who was the one who invited us to watch this, FYI, said, "It's a beautiful movie.  There were dragging parts and it's too long, but all in all it's a very beautiful movie."

I can't say I disagree with him.  True, there were parts where I dozed off, but I believe that this is one of the best movies KATHRYN BERNARDO and DANIEL PADILLA ever starred in.  There are still glimpses of their young selves, because they are indeed still very young, but it is quite obvious that they have honed their craft.  They play a couple, George and Primo, who fall in love in college, but on their fifth year of being together, they fall apart, literally and figuratively.  Primo flies to Italy to be with his family, but after being silent for two whole years, he returns to his and George's love nest(George's family's ancestral home) in Lucban, Quezon.

There were many kilig and challenging moments.  My favourite scenes were the ones in Amsterdam and other parts of Netherlands, but of course, I love the Pahiyas scenes too.

When did I doze off?  I honestly do not remember, but I enjoyed most parts of the movie anyways.

Mom was quick to defend Cathy Garcia-Molina direction(and screenplay) and Carmi Raymundo's story and screenplay(which she also co-wrote with Gillian Ebreo), "It's because of the fans...if the movie was cut short, they would complain."  There's even some postscripts or maybe I should say, an epilogue with THE ODETTE KHAN herself.

DARREN ESPANTO, who plays Yohan(if their father is Dutch, maybe the correct spelling should've been Johann.  Their surname is Silva, and in BENELUX, Silva was a popular non-German(Portuguese) surname in the 7th Century), is being introduced in this movie.  I think, even if he has acted before on TV, he did a great job for a first timer.  Yohan here is an almost blind diabetic who just wants to see his and George's dad before he lost his vision.

KIT THOMPSON plays Primo's cousin who is based in Amsterdam.  He's an eye candy, but he sure can act too.

JEAN GARCIA never disappoints, whether she's good and bad, and as Baby, the mom of Yohan and George, she surely delivered.

SUSAN AFRICA is George and Yohan's Tita Lola.  She is one of the sweetest ever, pardon the pun.  Like Yohan, she's a diabetic.

ALWYN UTYTINGCO, Jean Garcia's son-in-law in real life, plays Bowie, Primo's friend and bandmate that he disses, so he decides to focus on his family and their business.

RIA ATAYDE, as Awee, is so beautiful here as always, but like her mom and her brother, she is an individual who can really act.  

and

JUAN MIGUEL SEVERO plays George's classmate, Mikko, who is George's voice of reason that she rarely listens too.  Juan Miguel is really versatile, and he can surely act.

Dad and I may have dozed off in some parts, but the other people were so focused on the movie like they were involved in every second of the movie, so I'm sure they would not only break most box office records, but would have more important projects in the future.
