Christopher Robin (2018)

Christopher Robin -- now a family man living in London -- receives a surprise visit from his old childhood pal, Winnie-the-Pooh. With Christopher's help, Pooh embarks on a journey to find his friends -- Tigger, Eeyore, Owl, Piglet, Rabbit, Kanga and Roo. Once reunited, the lovable bear and the gang travel to the big city to help Christopher rediscover the joy of life.-WWW

All of us adults need to search deep inside us once in a while for our inner child to emerge.  An inner child that we may have forgotten and need to be reminded of.  The joy that was probably lost along the way because we have the wrong priorities, et cetera, et cetera.

This latest Winnie the Pooh movie focuses on the adult Christopher Robin who is trapped in a job that he is not happy with.  A job that has robbed him of the joie de vivre.  A job that made him neglect the most important people in his life and made him forget who he really was.

EWAN MCGREGOR plays the part so well that I almost believed that Christopher Robin and the 100 acre woods really exist somewhere in between Sussex and London.

Being "The" Madeleine is BRONTE CARMICHAEL biggest break so far.  She did a mighty fine job of being Christopher Robin's daughter.  She is very believable.

HAYLEY ATWELL plays Christopher Robin's wife who misses the man she married.

The scenes are very believable.  The "teddies" look so alive, even if they are stuffed animals. Or are they?

I love this movie and I would probably watch this again and again and again.  When it ended I couldn't help, but clap.  Some others applauded along with me, including my folks who were so grateful that they were able to see it.
