Although the two movies are different as night and day, they both are very touching.  If you would ask me,  I like both movies very much, but SHOELACES FOR CHRISTMAS for me is the better movie, only because of how a simple thing like a pair of shoelaces could make someone happy.  It's the practicality of those shoe laces, and the deeper meaning it represents that pulled a lot of heartstrings.

I watched CHRISTMAS ON HOLLY LANE FIRST, then CHRISTMAS MADE TO ORDER, then Shoelaces for Christmas.  Each of the three movies served its purpose.  They all left smiles in my heart even if some heartstrings were pulled.

Shoelaces for Christmas: Although it's the first time a story like this one was made into a movie, whether on the big screen or the boob tube, this story is special.  We do a lot of things that we regret, but if make reparation for those things, then hopefully, everything would turn out well.

The parents are very lenient in this movie, but I guess it was sort of their reward for their daughter who little by little changed into a selfless person from being so full of herself.

I like that this movie is about normal people with their own struggles, victories, and joys.  It also tackles the true meaning of Christmas.

Christmas on Holly Lane: I like the FACT that this story focused on the great friendship between longtime friends.  They all have struggles in life, but the adversities they faced individually never affected their friendship.  Is that a spoiler?  I don't think so.

Friends should lift each other up, and not bring each other down, and that's what this story is all about.  There are some love stories on the side, but all very minor.  For those looking for romantic movies, this movie does provide some cheap thrills, but this is more about friendship and Christmas.

I guess that's about it.

Thanks for your time!
