Piper Jansen is a slick public relations genius and owner of her own company "Piper's Picks." After creating countless successful campaigns, she decides to use her grandmother's holiday recipes to write and launch a book of her own but, suddenly finds herself in the middle of a very public scandal that threatens the launch of the book as well as her business. Being the PR master that she is, Piper takes advantage of a guest spot on a morning talk show and agrees to work for a struggling single father Tim White, a fellow guest on the show and the handsome owner of a failing Santa's Village - free of charge. Piper herself is far from being a fan of Christmas, however, she knows it's the perfect way to save her reputation and therefore dives into the project as well as Tim and his two adorable children's lives. The Christmas spirit is abundant in the hearts of all those that work together to bring new life into the village and no matter how resistant Piper tries to be, she can't seem to help but fall in love with Tim and her new surroundings. This fun holiday movie truly reminds us that sometimes you can find love in the most unlikely places - a Christmas village.

The other movie I watched very recently incorporated the belief in Jesus Christ, and St. Nick as Christ's helper in bringing back the Christmas Spirit.  There was a little girl who skated well, and I Googled her.  It turns out she started training when she was very, very young, so that's she was so graceful five years ago.  Now, she's about ten or eleven, and she's ready for the Olympics.  The guy there was very handsome, but the girl there smiled all the time(the way some people described me so I think I get what they mean now), plus I was incredulous to the fact that women who love their children would choose hunky men over saving the innocence of their children.

I still wrote about it, but I'm not mentioning the movie.  It stars a very famous singer, and lead stars famous in their own right.

I chose to write about this movie instead of that, even if this movie does not incorporate the belief in Christ with Santa, because at least this is more wholesome, and even if it's some kind of fantasy, this sort of brings the Spirit of Christmas back in the lives of those who forgot it, especially if they lose special people in their life, whether they crossed over or simply went away.

The lead characters(MADELINE LEON and NEIL PATERSON) on their own may seem ordinary, but together, they sizzled.  The kids(CAILAN LAINE PUNNEWAERT and TYCEN CONAN) may look generic, but they were good.  The dog, Archie, he was amazing.

The people around them, most especially the best friend(BLAZE BROOKS) of the male protagonist, and the sister(JENNIFER FERRIS) of the female protagonist were awesome.

I like the guy who played Santa(HUGH WILSON) and the lady who played Mrs. Claus(DIANA CHRISMAN).  I liked that some of the characters who were sort of evil had redeeming factors, except for one.  Two, if you count one character who destroyed the meaning of Christmas for the sisters.

The movie gave me a light feeling while watching, and I felt giddy inside after.

JESUS is the REAL Reason why we have this Season, and if Easter or Resurrection Sunday didn't happen...

Anyways, may I just reiterate that this movie does bring peace, joy, and love, even if it's only temporary.  :-)

Thanks for your time.
