Two different stories with the same title: Hallmark Channel's Love on the Slopes(2018) and Amy Manemann's love on the Slopes (2015)

NYC-based copy editor, Alex, is sent to Ridgeline Resort, an extreme sports outpost, to write a story for a travel writing competition. At first, she fails at everything - much to the chagrin of Cole, an extreme sports enthusiast who thinks this city girl should head back to New York. But when Alex offers to assist Cole with his local arts festival, he reluctantly obliges to be her guide as she faces her fears doing one extreme sport after the next. Written by Happy_Evil_Dude

"Sweet and sensual romance at its best. A must read!" New York Times bestselling author Melissa Foster

Jessa Hartley is haunted by memories of the night she threw herself at her childhood crush, Dominic DeRenzi – and he turned her away. Years later, Jessa has managed to put the past behind her and climb up the ranks as head instructor of the ski lodge she one day hopes to purchase. Only her plans take a nosedive when the smooth talking Italian shows back up in town. Even worse, he’s planning on purchasing HER lodge.

After surviving a disastrous marriage, Dominic DeRenzi returns to Jackson Hole, Wyoming, hoping to make a fresh start for him and his six year old son by purchasing the old ski lodge. Until a chance encounter with Jessa Hartley throws his well laid plans off track. The once innocent girl from his childhood has grown into the beautiful woman he always knew she would become, and he is painfully reminded of the night he over stepped his bounds and kissed her. Then broke her heart by sending her away.
Rekindling the flames of their past isn’t part of the plan, yet Dominic and Jessa soon find they’re helpless to stop the fire that burns brightly between them. He broke her heart the first time he left, but can he make her see this time around he’s here to stay?- Source

If there's anything similar about the two stories, it's being in love on the slopes, but the two stories are different as night and day.

Between the two, I like the novel better(it's part of the Hartley Siblings/Family romance series by AMY MANEMANN), because I was journeying with JESSA, DOMINIC, LUCY, and Jessa's siblings.  Amy Manemann is a raconteur extraordinaire, and I think I'll buy the whole series one by one.

As for the movie made for television, I observed that it had many flaws, like it was rushed or something, but it does have spectacular views.

The guy or male lead, Cole(THOMAS BEAUDOIN), fell in love with Alex(KATRINA BOWDEN) first, according to the story, but his actions didn't really show it.  Maybe, because he's so afraid of opening up to people or draw attention to himself, his face needed to look stoic or unreadable. So maybe, just maybe, he did a good job. Maybe he, Thomas, I mean, did  a good character study of Cole, and maybe looking lifeless is bringing Cole to life.  Well, I don't know.  I'm just psyching myself so I won't be disappointed much.

As for Alex, Katrina Bowden made it obvious that she was slowly falling for Cole.

The Zip line was my favourite scene, making me want to go to The Rockies this winter.  I can dream, can't I?
