The Sound of Music (Different versions)
I never get tired of the Silver Screen version of THE SOUND OF MUSIC, but I also have learned to love the Japanese version called Trapp Family Story(a.k.a. Trapp Family Singers)トラップ一家物語 Torappu Ikka Monogatari.
The Sound of Music 1965 version was cut short and more cinematic. The Japanese version was well researched, still added some fictional parts, but tried its best to be somewhat like a docu-film, anime style. The names in the Rodgers and Hammerstein musical and movie were like aliases, while the Torappu Ikka Monogatari used the real names of the seven(7) Von Trapp children from Captain Georg's first marriage. It may have been presented in animated form, but it was real as real could be.
The SOUND OF MUSIC is timeless. I have watched this countless times, and like what I said before, I never get tired of it.

I'm really a sucker for these types of stories. For some weird reason, when I was a little girl, I dreamed of being a very great stepmother, defying the fairy tale and telenovela depictions or images or traits of stepmothers.
Sigh.
Oh well...

Perhaps I had a wicked childhood
Perhaps I had a miserable youth
But somewhere in my wicked, miserable past
There must have been a moment of truth
For here you are, standing there, loving me
Whether or not you should
So somewhere in my youth or childhood
I must have done something good
Nothing comes from nothing
Nothing ever could
So somewhere in my youth or childhood
I must have done something good
[Captain:]
For here you are, standing there, loving me
Whether or not you should
[Maria:]
So somewhere in my youth or childhood
I must have done something good
[Maria and the Captain:]
Nothing comes from nothing
Nothing ever could
[Maria:]
So somewhere in my youth
[Captain:]
Or childhood
[Maria:]
I must have done something . . .
[Maria and the Captain:]
Something good

Had to be satisfied with posing with the cutouts/standees due to time constraint(we were also with RJ who was in a wheel chair)
Rubielyn and me with Captain Georg von Trapp
Ariel Rivera even looks younger than when he was still starting and when he was still dating his wife, Gelli de Belen(they weren't an official couple yet when my cousin and I saw them at the Big Dome before one of the concerts of Gary V started, holding hands). Gosh, he's so handsome and very, very talented.
Thanks for taking the picture, Ian.
