Two contrasting stories starring Emma Rigby: Hollywood Dirt(2017) and A Cinderella Christmas(2016)
Directed by Tosca Musk

A Cinderella Christmas is one of the best Christmas love stories ever. The evil cousin is not really evil. She's just so insecure of her cousin that she made her do all the dirty work.
Directed by Tosca Musk
Written by Alessandra Torre(Book) and Joany Kane(Teleplay)
If you have read Hollywood Dirt, Summer, the role Emma Rigby played, had some innocence, but the way Ms. Musk made Emma Rigby play Summer, you would know immediately she would have some steamy love scenes with her sexy leading man JOHANN URB right from the start, even when Ben played by FERAZ OZEL met her for the first time(Ben, by the way, is only present in the movie, and not the book...and he's gay). Well, they did. I just didn't realise up to what extent those steamy love scenes, and maybe the reviewers are right. It is considered soft porn, but maybe not. Well, I don't know where people draw the line. I've seen many movies that the ratings board questioned, but they were done in good taste. Well, maybe the implications and simulations looked so real that I guess it is, but thankfully, I repeat, at least it has a story. ALESSANDRA TORRE weaved a beautiful yarn blanket that JOANY KANE was able to make us visualise on PassionFlix. She did the right thing by just simulating certain scenes, but I guess it wasn't sanitised enough, making some people raise some eyebrows.
The actress playing Summer came off as more of a porn star than a simple sexy unassuming girl next door. Her facial expressions and duck face pout was off putting. The actor playing Cole had no variations in his speech, so his lines came off flat and inanimate when he was talking. Their chemistry felt forced, and it seemed they couldn't ever just kiss. -excerpt from allenfarm's review
Cocky. In the book, he had a bigger role and was used for more endearing comedic relief and character growth. Even in the trailer for the movie they made cocky out to be a major character like he was in the books and I for one was very excited about that. As strange as it seems, the rooster helped Cole's growth in the book and it's so sad that aside from a few remarks that the relationship with Cocky didn't really happen. I know it sounds silly if you haven't read the book, and you probably think I'm crazy, but it could have been so much more.-excerpt from vshukri-83740's review
In my own observation I think the enemies to lovers wasn't, for lack of a better term, dwelled upon in the movie too much, but it was there. Their turning into lovers was too soon, but they also had friction after their first encounter, and slowly, they fell in love, almost like in the book.
Emma and Johann have chemistry while they were being Summer and Cole, respectively, but I also agree that when it came to their acting in Fortune Bottle, where they were supposed to be naturals, well, they weren't. They don't have chemistry at all.
In A Cinderella Christmas, Emma was paired with PETER PORTE who played the role Nikolaus Carmichael. They looked so beautiful together, and the love between Nikolaus and Angie(Emma's role) was pure and magical.
Emma Rigby, surely can act. She can be wholesome, and she can be seductive.
"Am I the only one that's read the book?"
"Scripts are not the book. It's an adaptation!"
I hope she can have more substantial projects in the future.
Tosca Musk, like Emma, is also versatile. (Ms. Musk, I will watch The Matchmaker's Playbook next)
I am foreseeing another project for these two lovely women in the future.
