THE MOVIE

Among the four this is the first one I watched, and it is my favourite among the four.  How's that for emphasis?

Yes, there's nothing new with a famous star going back to where he finds peace and meets a local whom he falls in love with, who happens to have a cute little daughter that is very precocious. Still, there are things here that are pleasantly surprising.  Some reactions are the same, and some are different.  Oh, I kind of said that already.

BEA SANTOS and RAVEN STEWART play the mother and daughter who love each other very much.

Honestly, the hot babe for me here is GREG VAUGHAN, but he's not the lead star, honey.  It's GREYSTON HOLT.

Instead of making a long narrative to convince you how much I like this movie,  I hope you get the watch the movie and like it as well.  It's not the best story ever told, but...  :-)

Also known as An Unexpected Christmas

Steve(Dillon Casey) and Cynthia(Susie Abromeit)are a newlywed couple celebrating their first Christmas together. They invite their families to join them for the holidays, but when Steve is laid off just before Christmas and Cynthia discovers she's pregnant, they both keep their news secret in hopes that the celebration runs smoothly. Among the four movies featured here, this is the one I like the least, but I still like it.  It's about family and the things we hold dear, including our values.

I won't make a roll call.

All I can say is that it is enjoyable enough, but there's no continuity in character for Cynthia.

I wonder...and I am just wondering aloud, "Is there a certain way that you should speak if you are acting in a Hallmark Christmas movie?"

Directed by Paul Kaufman
Written by Duncan Poole based on Ella Fairlie's novel called The Christmas Bucket List

I've always liked ALICIA WITT, but I think I saw her in a different light here.  She released her inner child and was able to portray Isobel like it was made for her.  Well, not everyone agrees, of course, but that's my opinion.

I like her chemistry with GABRIEL HOGAN who plays Jamie.  They made us believe that they had an instant attraction.

WANDA CANNON plays Isobel's mom, Ellen.

SUSAN HOGAN plays Jamie's mom, Cathy.

CHANCE HURTSFIELD plays Kyle, who plays the clarinet well.

CHRISTINE CHATELAIN plays Trish, Jamie's sister.

PETER BENSON plays Brett, Isobel's boyfriend.

This is G rated, so it's safe for the whole family.

This is a very familiar scene: Parents making their children's wedding their own.  Since I'm single, it's obvious I am not talking about my own wedding.  It could be a relative's or a friend's wedding.  It's just so close to home.

In one of the cases the couple just decided to elope after the guest list reached a thousand.  The parents could afford it, but the couple did not want strangers witnessing their wedding.

I like this movie.  They made the Bride(ANDREA BOWEN) look ordinary until the wedding day, when she wore that gown meant for a winter wedding.

The Groom played by NICK BATEMAN(Lucas) is so handsome that I had to look him up just to see if he was related to Justine and Jason Bateman.  Well, he's not.

BROOKE BUTLER (Quinn) appears as the bride's best friend and business partner.

ADAM SENN (Leif) appears as the Groom's younger brother who has a big crush on his future sister-in-law's best friend.

SUSAN WALKER(Deidre) and JANE SIBBETT(Marilyn) play the Bride and the Groom's moms.

BRUCE THOMAS(Holden) plays the Groom's dad. He is also an ordained Minister.

JORDAN MURPHY(Duncan)plays the Bride's dad.  He is also Lucas' boss.

It is guaranteed that you would find this as a very wholesome, but enjoyable UPTv movie.  They made it clear that when Lucas' slept over, he had another room and the couple never did any hanky-panky.  The story is enough for us to love this movie, but for the younger ladies, Nick Bateman and Adam Senn are eyes candies.  For the few younger men who would probably watch this, there's Brooke Butler.  Andrea Bowen's beauty will be obvious a little later than others, but she is very charming all throughout the movie.

Another thing I like about this flick is that it is not so predictable.  There were unexpected scenes too(yeah, there were predictable scenes...I believe we all need some predictability as much as we need pleasant surprises).

List the movies according to likability?

Well, that's just according to me.  Your opinions might vary.

Thanks a bunch for your time.
