The LEGO Movie (2014)
Storyline
The LEGO Movie is a 3D animated film which follows lead character, Emmet a completely ordinary LEGO mini-figure who is mistakenly identified as the most "extraordinary person" and the key to saving the Lego universe. An ordinary guy, Emmet is mistaken as being a "Master Builder" or one who can save the universe. Emmet and his friends go on an epic journey to stop the evil tyrant, Lord Business, who is bent on destroying their LEGO universe by gluing it all together. Written by DeAlan Wilson www.ComedyE.com
Wow! Tickets were sold out until the second showing yesterday. Up to now, I could not believe that this was(is) a box office hit.
Shucks.
I served in church the night before and I could have just bought tickets in advance(not via online) while my family was in church participating in the Holy Mas. I told myself I was sure we would still have good seats even if I would buy the tickets after going to church.
Boy, I was wrong!
What was I thinking? It was Sunday and a FAMILY DAY. Of course the tickets would be sold out. Oh well.
The Lego Movie was worth the wait(we waited for more than four hours) and everybody who watched with us in the theater seemed to be having a good time.
There were many words of wisdom that were fractured to make it funny, but there were hidden messages here and there.
Of course, the people over forty related with THE MAN UPSTAIRS. Lego IS an interlocking brick system, right? Some of us actually Kragled our creations. Tsk, tsk! Thank goodness for the likes of FINN that we are reminded that we should not do that.
In our family it was PG who was the Lego master builder...sigh, I miss him. He's there with the TRUE MASTER BUILDER and their having a great time there.
Vitruvius: We are entering your mind.
Emmet: What?
Lucy: I don't think he's ever had an original thought.
Emmet: That's not true. Introducing, the double decker couch so everyone could watch TV together and be buddies.
Lucy: That's literally the dumbest thing I ever heard.
Vitruvius: Let me handle this. That idea is just the worst.
People, adults usually, have a lot of things in mind and that is why a lot of us have trouble emptying our minds when we try to meditate.
Even in Christian Theology, empty vessels are the ones who allow God to fill them. They are the ones who trust Him completely and are blessed with wisdom that only comes from above.
With that said, let me just reiterate that this movie is something EVERYONE can enjoy.

Everything is awesome
Everything is cool when you're part of a team
Everything is awesome, when we're living our dream
Everything is better when we stick together
Side by side, you and I gonna win forever, let's party forever
We're the same, I'm like you, you're like me, we're all working in harmony
Everything is awesome
Everything is cool when you're part of a team
Everything is awesome, when we're living our dream
(Wooo)
3, 2, 1. GO
Have you heard the news, everyone's talking
Life is good 'cause everything's awesome
Lost my job, it's a new opportunity
More free time for my awesome community
I feel more awesome than an awesome opossum
Dip my body in chocolate frostin'
Three years later, washed out the frostin'
Smellin' like a blossom, everything is awesome
Stepped in mud, got new brown shoes
It's awesome to win, and it's awesome to lose (it's awesome to lose)
Everything is better when we stick together
Side by side, you and I, gonna win forever, let's party forever
We're the same, I'm like you, you're like me, we're all working in harmony
Everything is awesome
Everything is cool when you're part of a team
Everything is awesome, when we're living our dream
Blue skies, bouncy springs
We just named you awesome things
A nobel prize, a piece of string
You know what's awesome, EVERYTHING
Dogs and fleas, allergies, a book of Greek antiquities
Brand new pants, a very old vest
Awesome items are the best
Trees, frogs, clogs
They're awesome
Rocks, clocks, and socks
They're awesome
Figs, and jigs, and twigs
That's awesome
Everything you see, or think, or say
Is awesome
Everything is awesome
Everything is cool when you're part of a team
Everything is awesome, when we're living our dream
