Jack and Sarah (1995)

also from imdb
Even in 1995 the story wasn't anything new. I know some people in real life that met "this way", and it's somewhat predictable.
What makes this movie great then? The actors, and the treatment, and the awesome ending.
I have seen this in the 1990s, but I must say that I appreciated this more tonight.
SOPHIA TURNER (Baby Sarah) is at least 23 years old now, but she'll always be remembered as the adorable toddler who brightened everyone's day.
RICHARD E. GRANT plays Jack so effectively that I was crying with him, getting drunk with him, feeling elated with him, et cetera. When he realised how important Baby Sarah is to him, I felt...feel the love he has for her. Even if he's unrelated to the guy who kinda looks like him, and shares the same last name, he, at the very least, has the same acting ability...some debate/argue/discuss about who is better than the other, but let's not go there.

Mr. Grant and Miss Sullivan have a great supporting team including Dame JUDI DENCH, Mr. IAN MCKELLEN, EILEEN ATKINS, CHERIE LUNGHI, IMOGEN STUBBS, LAURENT GRÉVILL, TRACY THORNE, and SAMANTHA MATHIS.
Every actor is important, including the cute babies(the twins who played the four-month-old baby Sarah).
Well, I won't babble much longer.
Thanks for your time.
