A former boy-genius (George Clooney) and a gifted teenager (Britt Robertson) set out on a dangerous mission to unearth the secrets of "Tomorrowland," an enigmatic location caught between time and space- WWW Official Website Kudos to the cast and crew!   DIRECTOR Brad Bird PRODUCER Jeffrey Chernov Producer  Damon Lindelof Producer ACTORS George Clooney - Frank Walker   Hugh Laurie - David Nix  Raffey Cassidy - Athena   Thomas Robinson - Young Frank Walker  Britt Robertson - Casey Wow.  I didn't even feel that this movie is more than two hours.  I was really transported to Tomorrowland and when I was there, I wanted to kick David Nix(played by Hugh Laurie)'s butt.  I love the scenes between Athena and Frank(EVERYTHING...yes, including the scenes with George Clooney as the much older Frank).  I also love how Raffey Cassidy  portrayed Athena.  She is a very good actor and she moves well too! Britt Robertson is a good

From Wikipedia This is a poster for  Para sa Hopeless Romantic . The poster art copyright is believed to belong to  Viva Films  and  Star Cinema . Also from Wikipedia:  Becca (Nadine Lustre) thought that she had everything she could wish for in her life, until Nikko (James Reid) broke up with her. Everything in her life starts to fall apart. To recover, she started writing a story about Ryan (Inigo Pascual), a boy who harbors a secret crush on his best friend Maria (Julia Barretto). But before he can tell her his real feelings for her, he got into an accident and fell into a coma. Can all four of them find the "happy ending" that each one of them has been hoping for? A realistic, but feel good movie that proves JaDine has what it takes to be serious actors and not just a " pa-cute " love team. The two jell and their onscreen tandem is one of the most electrifying pairs there is. The story written by Marcelo Santos III is perfect for them

Pitch Perfect 2 (2015)/ Pitch Perfect (2012)

The long wait, at least for me, was finally over.  I able to watch this movie a few hours ago, 9:00 PM to be precise, and I enjoyed every minute of it. When the trailer was shown, I wondered if it would be able to outdo the first one.  Seldom does a sequel, unless it was shot immediately after the one preceding it, and even before the first one was to be shown is shown, become better than the original.   I am happy to say, that this movie, at the very least, equals the first one. Elizabeth Banks is an amazingly good director.   Directed by Elizabeth Banks Written by Kay Cannon Based on Characters created by Kay Cannon Pitch Perfect: The Quest for Collegiate A Cappella Glory by Mickey Rapkin Starring: Anna Kendrick Rebel Wilson Brittany Snow Ester Dean Hana Mae Lee Alexis Knapp Hailee Steinfeld Chrissie Fit Following an incident involving Fat Amy and a wardrobe malfunction at the Lincoln Center, the Barden Bellas are suspended from the circuit of

Note: I think I was sleepy and hungry when I first published this via my food blog . LMAO! (I deleted it already.) ;-p A film by Nora Ephron Written for the Big Screen by Nora and Delia Ephron Starring Meg Ryan and Tom Hanks Based on The Shop Around the Corner In 1998 I found myself watching another MEG RYAN and TOM HANKS tandem flick.  I am not sure which of their movies did I ever watch first.  Maybe it was Joe versus the Volcano or something else.  Wait, the thing in my head is When Harry Met Sally ...It's not Tom Hanks in that movie, but  Billy Crystal. This is just the third one. 💡📘📙📘💡 I think I mentioned somewhere on this blog that although I like Tom Hanks, there was this one movie that I hoped he wasn't the lead star.  But what can I do? He's the bankable one.  I think I get it anyway.  Why they think Tom Hanks is a cool leading man.  Even if his characters could get annoying at times, he is charmingly annoying.  Is there even such as thing

The Purge(2013)

In an America ravaged by crime and overcrowded prisons, the government sanctions an annual 12-hour period during which all criminal activity -- including murder -- is legal. James Sandin (Ethan Hawke) and his family face the ultimate test when an intruder drags the vicious outside world into their h ome. James, Mary (Lena Headey) and their two children struggle to survive the night while trying not to turn into monsters like the ones they are striving to avoid .-WWW This movie was a box office hit, but I never heard of it.  Thank goodness that it is being shown at HBO Hits and recently, I was able to watch it with my dad. Dad and I became curious because when we were channel surfing. this movie was about to start in a few seconds.   Story-wise, it lacks depth, but it is thrilling and interesting enough for one not to leave the theater, room or wherever else that person is watching this story.   The Purgers are futuristic Klu Klux Klan types.  Yeah.  That's it.

In 1950s Soviet Russia, secret police agent Leo Demidov (Tom Hardy) loses everything when he refuses to denounce his wife, Raisa (Noomi Rapace) as a traitor. Finding themselves exiled to a grim provincial outpost, Leo and Raisa join forces with Gen. Mikhail Nesterov (Gary Oldman) to capture a serial  killer who preys on young boys. They soon find that their investigation threatens a system-wide cover-up enforced by Vasili (Joel Kinnaman), Leo's psychopathic rival. -WWW Official Website "There is NO murder in paradise !"  Directed by: Daniel Espinosa Written for the screen by: Richard Price Produced by: Ridley Scott, Michael Schaefer and Greg Shapiro    (Source) The Ayala Cinemas boasted  about having exclusive rights in showing this film to the general public, but that wasn't what attracted me to this film.  I was attracted by the tagline: "How do you find a killer that doesn't exist ?" Yes.  I wondered to myself.  How?
