Mark A. Reyes V is a very versatile director.  He is able to direct movies, TV Shows, TV series or whatever else without being stuck in one genre.

Trip Ubusan is supposed to be a parody or a spoof of TRAIN TO BUSAN,  but like some of the critics or reviewers described, it's more than that.

Of course, I had to see it for myself.  Would I have a different opinion or would I agree with them?

After watching it I agree with them.

The movie is not just about laughs or scary zombies, it's about family, friendship, unity, bravery, not being judgmental and being able to surpass all odds no matter what.

It's also a movie that could take one's blues away.

Oh, smaller kids might not understand the makeup/prosthetics, so please be there for them, and if you need to,  laugh out loud...I mean, louder, so they'd know it's just a movie.  Sometimes we overestimate these bright kids,  although there are times we are correct anyways.

There were many new comers that did so well.  The veterans, especially Archie Adamos, stood out.

Of course, the lolas, who are also veterans, are endearingly funny, witty and audacious.

It's just a pity this movie is not showing(yet) in some of our favourite theatres, but hopefully they would show them in more cinemas soon.  Thankfully, there are lots of theatres showing this so the people won't get deprived.

It's truly worth time and money.

Angelika Dela Cruz, you really should have more projects...you too, Ryzza Mae, brilliant girl.  Taki Saito, I'm going to watch out for you.  Arthur Solinap, you're definitely more than a pretty face(I'm sure your wife agrees, who also is in this movie). Shaira Mae Dela Cruz, you are no longer just EA Guzman's girl(are they still together?), you can act.  Miggy Tolentino, you seem like a bright boy.  May you have more movies to come.  Kenneth Medrano, you're good!  Jhayvot Galang, I think I've seen you in plays/musicals, you're a natural.  Lovely Abella, you delivered.

JoWaPao, more projects to come!  "Level up" na ito so I hope you'd have more projects like this one.

Caprice Cayetano, I've loved you since  Alyas Robinhood and Mulawin Vs. Ravena, but as Charmaine, you've proven you have stellar quality.  Please don't let it get into your head.

Kudos to EVERYONE involved in this film!  There's a mixture of different emotions and lots of lessons to be learned.  You will also get misty-eyed and be terribly touched in some scenes.

Oh, and after the movie I wanted to buy DSS(Dead Sea Salt) and stay away from organic meat(joke only), but since we couldn't do that, we went to Bonjour at Total to buy sandwiches etc.  ;-) If you watch the film, you'll see why it had adverse effects for other people...
