My ticket

To each his own.  Some of the critics say they like the first one better.  In some points I agree with them, but this second installment and first franchise has its moments:

Moments between Yondu and Rocket...moments between Drax and Mantis...moments between Rocket and Quill...moments between Gamora and Nebula...moments between Gamora and Quill and the list goes on.

Baby Groot is a scene stealer and you will enjoy the flying arrows of Yondu plus Rocket's tricks.

There is sort of a Viking Funeral in this movie.  For whom?  You just have to wait and see.  It's a sad, but very, very beautiful scene.

The moving rocks or stalagmites and other "special" effects will also amaze you and there are lots of other scenes that would make your mouth agape.

Drax is the funniest in this movie.  He reminded me of little boys who have crushes in elementary.

Sean Gunn is not just the director's younger brother, he is a very good actor.  He can be quite funny too.

Tango and Cash(Stallone(Starhawk) and Russel(as Ego, Quill's Father) respectively) prove they still have their mojos intact even if they are no longer young stallions, so to speak.

An yways, here are three reviewers that voiced my thoughts so I didn't have to make my own review---hehehehe:

CHRIS PRATT as  Star-Lord/Quill/Peter
BRADLEY COOPER as Rocket Raccoon
DAVE BAUTISTA as Drax the Destroyer
ELIZABETH DEBICKI asKismet/Ayesha, the Golden High Priestess of the Sovereign People
KURT RUSSEL as Ego, the Living Planet/Quill's Father
SYLVESTER STALLONE as Stakar Ogord/Starhawk
GLENN CLOSE as Irani Rael, Supreme Commander of the Nova Corps
MICHAEL ROOKER as Yondu Udonta
SEAN GUNN as Kraglin
VIN DIESEL as Baby Groot

Michelle Yeoh, Ving Rhames, Miley Cyrus plus some others have cameos.
