Fast and Furious 8: The Fate of the Furious (a.k.a. Fast 8) PG-13

#notareview
Vin Diesel, Charlize Theron, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris Bridges, Jason Statham and Dwayne Johnson
Major spoiler alert
My favorite part
Baby Carlos with my brother RJ's favorite actor
Carlos as Baby ____ Marcus Toretto (spoiler alert)
The real star of the movie
Usually babies in movies have their twins with them, but Carlos just played and did not need to have an alterate, except maybe for a mechanical body double or something, but his co-actors said he was a delight to be with.  Elsa Pataky, Chris Hemworth's wife in real life, and Baby Marcus' mother in the movie said he actually called Vin Diesel "Da-da!".  He'a a miracle, according to the F8 team(full cast and crew)

This seventh franchise is still about family and the importance of it, whether one is related by blood or by heart.

Our families either make us or break us...so what will happen to Dom's family?  Will the strong bond be broken? Will Dom go to the dark side?

Almost every movie Charlize Theron is in of late, she either plays an evil witch, a femme fatale or whatever kind of antagonist.  I think she's enjoying those types of films.  Here in Fast 8 she plays a super cyber terrorist and uses Dom's love for family, blood or not, as clout for Dom to do her dirty work.  She is also a twisted psychoanalyst here that looks like Bo Derek that disrupts a honeymoon. ;-p  Oh I wanna pull her long hair. Ha-ha-ha! She also kind of reminds me of Sharon Stone. Oh me, oh my.

They added a new member of the team in the person of Clint Eastwood's son, Scott.  Can't wait for the 9th franchise.  Hope he'll have a more vital role.

Really?  There's another love triangle here? ;-)

This movie is pretty exciting.  Just as I thought they have run out of ideas because this is already the seventh franchise, they still were able to surprise us(besides the cuteness of Baby Carlos as Baby ___Marcus, no more spoilers from me---a lot of people gave a blow-by-blow account already).

A lot of things were incredible, but without analyzing things too much, this movie is going to give you a fun ride.  There are many funny scenes and they made it a point to leave the gory parts out.

This is definitely a popcorn movie.

Oh, even if you shouldn't overthink anything in this movie, it's also good to take note of things so when you realize certain integrations and the like you would say, "Oh, so that's why..." "There's a reason why there's a warning before we turn on the GPS..." ;-p "Oh, maybe that's what happened to the Montero Sport..." Oops, I'm incredulous to that thought.  :-p

Another thing, don't try to wait for a teaser after the credits.  We were warned by the ushers that we would just waste our time(or maybe they just wanted to clean the place a.s.a. p.).  ;-)
