War for the Planet of the Apes (PG) 2017

War For The Planet Of The Apes: exploring

its ending, and what might happen next

(with major, major spoilers)

I chose this poster because this has Caesar(Andy Serkis) and Nova(Amiah Miller)

Caesar (Andy Serkis) and his apes are forced into a deadly conflict with an army of humans led by a ruthless colonel (Woody Harrelson). After the apes suffer unimaginable losses, Caesar wrestles with his darker instincts and begins his own mythic quest to avenge his kind. As the journey finally brings them face to face, Caesar and the colonel are pitted against each other in an epic battle that will determine the fate of both of their species and the future of the planet.

This is supposed to be the end of the three prequels, but according to the links above(click only if you don't mind spoilers), there might be more.

When RISE OF THE PLANET OF THE APES was shown, I didn't even give a damn because I thought it was like the other one before it, but when DAWN OF THE PLANET OF THE APES was shown, I regretted not being able to watch Rise.

Ergo, when they announced WAR FOR THE PLANET OF THE APES, I psyched myself to see it and thankfully, that day "arrived" already.

Every scene is exciting and it was delightful to meet Amiah Miller here(Her current photographs are pictures of a girl who can't wait to grow up.  I hope she doesn't hurry...), but of course, the apes are heroes here.  According to dad, the moral of the story is that the apes are more humane than humans.

I still have faith in humanity.  It does not have to come to that.  Besides, I think it's not yet the whole planet that's affected by the virus(thankfully, they did not produce Zombies...please don't produce zombies... instead, produced highly intellectual simians either speaking in English or communicating via American Sign Language or ASL)from a drug Dr. Will Rodman(James Franco in the 1st two instalments) experimented on to cure his father's Alzheimer's disease.  It's just parts of North America(I think), but maybe there are places, like Asia, Europe, Australia and other parts of America...yes, there are still lots of humans in the future(if this is really based on the 1968 Planet of the Apes) even if they say it won't retell the original story.

Oh, and there's this thought...Will Nova and Cornelius merge or fall in love in the future? Anything could happen.
