Cinderella (2015)

Short and simple:  This is the best adaptation so far(I love EVER AFTER too.  I am trying to look for the piece I wrote about it.  I hope to find it soon).  The on-screen chemistry of all the actors, most especially that of Lily James and Richard Madden, is very evident.  It's nice to relearn an old story and feel light in the end.

Lily James reminds me of a very young Jessica Lange and a little bit of Grace Kelly.  Richard Madden's appeal is like "the boy next door".  Cate Blanchett is perfect for her role.  Ben Chaplin is debonair like as Ella's dad and Stellan Skarsgård makes the Grand Duke seem vile.

 Trivia:  Lily James was set to be one of the wicked step-sisters, Anastasia.

Barbie and Her "Kens" (A Dollywood Title) #TeamYuan #KenBie My bubble was burst when the last scene after the credits was shown.  JEYA (Jai, Ethan, Yuan and Andoy) just woke up from a heavy night and they were wondering what happened then in big bold letters this was shown on the TV screen:  Ano nga ba? SOON! Ngarks. I was already very happy that BARBIE (Forteza as Billie Bendiola) and KEN (Chan as Yuan Lee or Lee Yuan) ended up together.  I even shouted it out via FB(viewed by Friends of Friends) then as I was enjoying the after credits scenes, the very last one was that messy pool scene. Everything was just a dream! Come on! I know it's fiction, but to play with our emotions like that?  That is such BS. How do I describe this movie without giving spoilers?  Hmm.  Let me think.  Ah, I think I know how.  Directed by Gino M. Santos Written by Jeff Stelton and Keiko Aquino Loosely based on or inspired by the  Wattpad   sensation by  youramnesiagirl  of the same title, is a story of finding your self worth and about living.  It's also about relationships not of the romantic kind and about responsibility.  This movie is NOT all about sex.  There's more to it than that .  It also doesn't stereotype med reps and doctors.
